Remove "Download Again" option

Hello everyone.

Just to give some background to my situation: I'm using a UK console, UK Gold Live account, but I'm living in South Korea.

I tried to download Mafia II, using the online marketplace option rather than via my comsole, but hadn't realized that it wouldn't complete the download. I tried it a few times and it got to 79% and stopped. After researching this, I now realize it's because
my Live account and my actual physical location don't match.

I'm planning to migrate my region, yet when I do I know I will get the "Download Again" option for Mafia II. I think if I select this option it will try to download the UK version which now won't be unlocked because I will have changed my region to Korea!
Is that right, or am I wrong?

Is there any way I can get that download again option removed and just replaced with download?

I've tried to ask xbox's online support chat but understandably it was too complex for them to truly help me with.

Well omce you migrate to your actual region and it completes you must delete the file and goto the webmarletplace and click buy or purchase And make sure you use the correct regional marketplace

Do you know of any issues that can occur from region migration? I feel a little apprehensive because I'm worried it will affect the following things:

1 - My ability to play UK bought games, i.e. ones I have the CD for.

2 - That the language of games that I download, will now be in Korean not English.

3 - My Xbox One, which is also with me in Korea (and was UK bought) will somehow be affected.

I don't use any apps for the 360 or One, so in that regard I'm okay. Yet for games, I worry!

1 doesnt really affect it unless the game itself requires the dlc to be the same region as the disk which rarely happens DDarksiders and blackops are examples

2 yes most gamesnwont support english in your region however if The game doesnt support korean then it eill have a listing for the closest languages available

3 yes xbox one will be affected

If it is a temporary viait rather then a long term visit like a few months rather then years its best just to create another local account

Keep in mind region locked content you purchased while physically umin uk wont be avaiable to download in korea

 

Please note most triple a titles are most likelt region locked due to violent nature or religious, sexual or even topics or licensing limitations
