Remove Cortana

    Remove Cortana


    I don't like this nagware on my xbox. It pops up when I'm watching TV and it interrupts my show. I won't ever use Cortana and the app appears to be bugged or broken as there's no option to uninstall it. It acts just like a virus. I can't get rid of it
    and it's holding my screen ransom with it's distracting popups that I cannot disable. Is this voice feature always listening through the microphone?

    Is my only uninstall option to buy a PlayStation? I'm starting to hate Sony less than I do Microsoft, so this may be my only viable option.

    How do I remove a worthless buggy "feature" that I don't want, don't need and didn't ask for?

    How do I turn off the Cortana popup messages?

    Hey there Ravenclawln4ks,

    To use normal "Xbox" commands on the Xbox Console you'll just need to disable Cortana. That should remove any Cortana popup messages on the console as well, here's the steps to do that. How to

    Yo dawg, I heard you like Cortana, so I put Cortana next to Cortana so you can ask Cortana while asking Cortana.

    Go into Settings/System/Cortana Settings and turn it off, lol.

    Is this true death of the Kinect?

    Microsoft has ditched another of their own creations for the competition. They focus on Alexa now and Cortana will be removed from the console soon. But i believe you can turn cortana off and use the old xbox commands with kinect. So it's "Xbox on" instead
    of Cortana.
