OneGuide is a core app built in to the operating system - no way to remove that.

OneDrive is a normal app from the store... you should be able to highlight it in your My Games and Apps, hit the menu button (three horizontal lines), and then go to Manage App. There you can uninstall it.

no one's figured a work around to rip oneguide out?

I'm a little disappointed I bought the 1T hard drive and the thing only has around 750 gigs available

  6. No way to "rip it out" that I know of. It's hooked in to the system (and the main purpose for the HDMI-In port on the back of the console).

The missing space is formatting, cache, and the OS itself. If you start to run low on space, you can always uninstall games you aren't actively playing (and re-install them at any time in the future), or you can increase your storage space via an external
hard drive. Any USB 3.0 hard drive with at least 256GB of space can be used with the Xbox One.

Yeah it just seems like a giant waste. Disk space and components (HDMI in). Why on earth would anyone feed their tv into the xbox to watch tv thru the xbox. Why burn up the life of your gaming system watching tv? so, so silly

I love watching my TV through my Xbox. The OneGuide is a much better interface than the one my cable box provides, and voice commands through Kinect are INCREDIBLE. The fact that I can sit down, say "Xbox On", "Watch TV" and "Watch ESPN", and my Xbox has
turned on the TV, turned on the cable box, and changed the channel to ESPN without me touching anything is awesome. Use it everyday.
