Remove all trusted devices not available?

I'm using 2FA with my Microsoft account. I can add trusted devices, while logging into the account. According to MS documentation you can remove all trusted devices in the Account Secuirty settings. However this option is not available anymore, at least in my account. I can only see "Sign me out".

Was it changed? Is it the same?

And, does it work for Xbox? I want to remove my Xbox from trusted devices list.

    :)

Remove all trusted devices not available?

    Hello,

If you look in the settings in Edge you can set the browser not to save any passwords. I would recommend clearing all settings in the history tab and reviewing all security measures within edge. For example I have edge clear all my browsing history, passwords, autofill - all of it every time I close and open a new browser so every thing I use requires me to sign in with no auto sign in features.

Then on the pages itself you have to choose for it not to remember you (especially if you engage in cookies - these save your data for your next visit). For example when you log into your Microsoft account on an unrecognized device it asks you if you want to remember the device during the 2FA and after. You can choose to have that option never show again.

I have tested this setting and when you clear the Browser settings and you engage in the first sign in, you can choose during the process to not ask if you want to turn it off and continue to be a requirement at every log in.

On your account you can choose "Sign me out" and it will sign you out of every trusted device. Thus if you then remove the device from your account after doing so, you can enact new security choices for your account on each device and subsequent logins.

On Xbox, you can set your Sign in and Security Preferences such as auto sign in, passcode sign in, and a "Lock it down" which will require a log-in at every turn on. I am testing this by removing my system from my devices and engaging in the sign in process. As far as I can tell for an Xbox - it used to repeatedly ask me for 2FA when I signed in, however it no longer does. I am not sure if this was a feature that was removed but I will communicate with the correct teams. Once you sign in it is automatically added to your trusted devices - the ensuing security is then based on the device itself.

What I suggest for added security for the Xbox (the settings I use for my personal Xbox to completely restrict it):

    - Go to Family Settings under Account

    - Set your setting in My Sign in, security and passkey - this makes a code and password required for major changes to your system

    - Set restrictions under Access Restrictions - this restricts other people from making their own accounts, adding accounts or resetting the console without the "Guest Key"

    I hope this helps.

I will leave these resources here:

Two factor authentication - remove a trusted device so it still - Microsoft Community

Add a trusted device to your Microsoft account

Add security info to your Microsoft account

You didn’t receive a security code

Remove all trusted devices not available?

    Hello there!

If you want to remove the Xbox from your devices on your Microsoft account you can just follow the steps on this link Remove a device from your Microsoft account to do that. As if you want to remove it from a specific app, you may need to checking the app's support page for more information.

Remove all trusted devices not available?

I would like to repeat my questions:

    1. How to remove the device from "Trusted Devices" list? Where is the old "Remove all trusted devices" option in Microsoft Account? I'd like to remove it only for 2FA purposes.
    2. If I remove the Device from "My devices" list, what are the consequences? In particular - removing Xbox from my devices, will it impact my data saved on the console?
I did a little experiment: I have logged in to MS Account from Chrome on another laptop (MacOS). I have been asked for 2FA code. I have checked the option "Don't ask me on this device". Now - where is this device visible? Where can I remove it from Trusted Devices?

    Thanks!

    Maciej

Remove all trusted devices not available?

Additional check I've made: removing the device from my registered devices does not help. I'm still not being asked for 2FA while logging in to Xbox.

Can it be related to Microsoft Edge settings on Xbox?

Remove all trusted devices not available?

Thanks! However my goal is to remove it from Trusted Devices and not "my Devices" list, so the 2FA will ask me to authenticate again with the second factor.

Btw. what is the consequence of removing the Xbox from my Devices list? Is it described anywhere? Will I lose my games/saves/records/captures/etc?
