Remove All Security Info

So i only have one email associated with my microsoft account and i dont have access to it. I don’t have a phone number linked to it either. So i recently hit the “I don’t have any of these” tab and i went through the process and i’m now on the 30 day
wait period. It asked for either a phone number or an email to use. I chose a phone number. This is my first time doing this and i’m not sure what will happen when that 30 day wait period is up. So my question is will the email asociated with my account be
deleted and the phone number will take its place after the wait period is up?

Sounds like you are already in the process. If you got an email about it, check that for links or info. Otherwise, just sit tight and wait for the process to finish. Good luck!

This does look like something I need, but there is a major problem. I have to sign in in order to request removal of security info, but when I'm trying to sign in it requires me to add security info no matter what I do, and when I type in security info it just says the same error message. Is there any other way to request removal of security info without signing in?

When all security info is removed from a Microsoft account, the account is put into a restricted state for 30-days.

While we understand this 30-day period might be frustrating, this is done to protect and alert you in case the security info was removed by someone who had unauthorized access to your account.

We'll send notifications during the 30-days to the original security info, which could be a phone number or email address. These notifications are sent to alert you that changes were made to your security info.

If you removed this security, you might have the option to cancel the request. See below.

We can't expedite the 30-day process unless you cancel the request.

You can cancel the request if you removed the security info yourself. If you didn't remove the info, and you think this may have been done by someone with unauthorized access, follow the steps to alert us of this.

I would log into the account on the Microsoft or Xbox website and change all your security info. Then remove the Xbox from your device list.

Remove All Security Info
