removal of microsoft account from profile

Select Start , right-click the account name icon (or picture) and select Switch User.

In this option, you can switch to your user, and also remove the user in question.

If this is indeed the case, you will need to contact mojang, who are responsible for the game and the link, and ask them to manage the account.

is it regarding the email address itself, that you don't want to delete the MS account?

If so, then you could see if changing the Primary email address for the MS Account will result in a solution that works for you.

For example on your current MS account (the one that was used for GTA4 etc.) you could change the primary email address to a new email address, after which I think you should be able to use that older email address to try and promote your offline profile
to an Xbox Live Account. (Be aware that changing email etc can take up to 48 hours to complete)

If there are other reasons why you don't want to delete the MS account, then I'm afraid there currenlty are no options to do so at the moment.
