Removal of Dedicated Text Chat Systems from the Roblox platform

So this is a problem that first became apparent around the December of 2019, and a problem that has considerably impacted the player base of Roblox not just those accessing the platform through Xbox one, as a majority of games on the platform rely on text chat as a means and basis of enjoyment of games that are popular. As expected when the ability to communicate with the users on other devices is shut down, people stopped playing as due to the inability to communicate with the other users

I would like to discuss what lead to this action being enforced, and why would it be necessary to have it, as well as gather a possible alternative to this problem and re-open the chat systems

I was pretty upset with this too, but I heard they did this to keep the rating for everyone and not 13+ in the Microsoft store.

There is much easier ways to do so, especially without severely impacting the player base,

Xbox uses voice chat (party chat). There is no text chat in Roblox on Xbox One. It was removed awhile back.

Other games such as Warzone and Minecraft has chat cross-platform text chat enabled.

Also, Dued1 doesn't work for Roblox and said "Looks like" meaning he doesn't know for sure.

It's possible that the text chat feature was removed from the Xbox version of the game for various reasons. It's possible that the text chat feature was removed due to issues with players using inappropriate language or engaging in cyberbullying, which can be more difficult to moderate in voice chat.

No worries, it's also possible that Roblox is monitoring the feedback from the community, and if there is a high demand for text chat, they may consider adding the feature again in the future.
