Remotely managing multiple Xbox devices

Hi there,

We are a service provider in South Africa providing Xbox rentals to multiple customers with their connectivity package. We have started to look into ways that we can remotely manage an Xbox in the event that a customer requires our remote support. Is there any solution for this?

due to security and privacy, Microsoft will never allow another party to connect to a customer console and you cannot manage accounts as you would need access to the customer account which is against the ToC of the service. besides there is not much you would be able to do remotely.

I understand how frustrating it must be that you are experiencing this issue. If possible, have you tried using Remote Play on a different device to see if the issue affects multiple devices? You can test it on your phone using the Xbox app: https://support.xbox.com/help/games-apps/game-setup-and-play/how-to-set-up-remote-play

Open the Xbox mobile app.
Select the My Library icon and select Consoles.
Select the console you want to connect to and then press Remote play on this device.

I don't think there's a way to play from multiple devices at the same time. You can take a look at Xbox Remote Play but you play only on one device at a time.

You can also play using Game Pass Ultimate from 2 devices at the same time (two computers, or one Xbox and one computer), but there are some games available only on PC and others only on Xbox.

Love it. Ability to search multiple entertainment sources and control them by voice is first of all a lot more efficient and faster than a remote or keyboard, and for the physically handicapped who can't use physical devices.
