    The remote play feature on the Xbox app was working until I keep getting this message: Remote play is unavailable. Please try again in a bit. Something went wrong.

    I already did restarting & resetting the console, my mobile device, and my network, but none of these methods have fixed the problem. I also noticed that other app users have been experiencing this problem for a long time as well. Any working solution would be much appreciated. Thank you.

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

    Please perform an extended power cycle and reset the network hardware by making sure that the following steps will be followed:

    1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

    2. Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds or until it turns off then wait for 2 minutes before turning it on again.

    3. After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

    4. If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

    Hey Arshia, how are you.

    Just checked on my side, the remote play feature is usable for me.

    It maybe either an issue from your end or Microsoft's end, here's the thing you can do.

    1. Restart the console and your phone

    2. Reconnect the network on both of the devices

    3. Restart your router

    4. Go to your app setting in your mobile, click 'Clear cache' and try again

    4. Reinstalling the app

    This worked for me.

    I was wondering why no new game appeared mid-month. Then I saw it advertised elsewhere on the dashboard but still unavailable in the store.

    Remote installing it from the UK web store did the trick.
