Remote play on Xbox Series X “Try again in a while”

Hi there, I have recently picked up a series x and was hoping to use the remote play features, unfortunately every time I try to use it I always get an error saying try again in a while, from both inside my home and over the internet,

Remote play features are enabled on the Xbox and a remote play test passes with only a warning about upload speed.

Things I have tried;

Making sure Xbox is up to date

Hard resetting / unplugging Xbox, and both force close mobile app and reinstalling it.

Disabling remote features and re enabling them, trying allow only signed in profile to connect and all to connect.

Wired and Wireless connection on the Xbox

Port forwarding, DMZ and alternate router,

Connecting from iPadOS, Android Phone and Android tablet.

Full factory reset of XBOX, Renaming Xbox and the new wireless MAC address option.

I’m all out of ideas at this point, am I out of luck or is there anything else I can try? as it’s a little disappointing.

Thanks for your reply, unfortunately I’ve also tried all steps listed in the troubleshooting guide and the issue remains.

Remote play ala xcloud is only available on gamepass ultimate

Game.streaming.via.the xbox companion app requires a xbox

Keep in mind you can't.use.the.xbox while you are.using.the wireless gamestreaming

Huh? Remote Play is nothing to do with Xcloud or Game Pass. And if it won't work, then how can they get it working on their Android device? And they have an Xbox so that's not the issue.

They are trying to Remote Play their Series X games from their Series X console to their PC via the Remote Play feature and using the Xbox App. This should work without an issue, as it does with their Android device. There is nothing on the Remote Play page to suggest Game Pass is needed

I have the Xbox Series X and was playing remote play on my Surface Pro 6 , it won't load up every time I try to do remote play on my surface and I'm not near my Xbox
