Remote play on Mac

I was wondering if anyone has any information if xbox one will be playable on a mac computer not running windows 10?

It's an cool app but i hate that unlike Sony's remote play app we have boot out of the MAC OS to use it can us plesse make an mac version.

Since the remote play is truely a feature of Windows 10 playing on a mac without Windows 10 will not work.

I can confirm however that running a windows 10 parallels VM will in fact let you play and stream the xbox from my macbook pro.

The Xbox app and remote play are not available on Mac

If you're running Windows, Mac is not often not compatible with remote play, xbox games, and other things that require DRM and other security, as emulation often causes issues with the secure connection.

You need to contact your emulation provider about addressing these issues, as Microsoft cannot support their software.

Xbox app (PC) Remote play option disappeared been using it for over a month Trouble shooting I have done

on console I have double checked remote features are enabled/cleared alternative mac address/reset keep games and apps/checked for updates.

on PC side I have repaired/reset Xbox app/ and Xbox insider hub checked for window updates/App updates and the last thing I tried was pin hole reset with my modem. I have Xbox series x

Remote play icon is all working fine on Xbox One and mobile just not PC Please Help Notice this issue at 10.30am 10/10/2022

Have you tried to check the link to see if you can remotely install the app? You can install games and apps from the MS store which you can confirm here: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/games-apps/.... Please make sure remote feature is enabled. Please also clear your MAC address before installing the game. Go to your Xbox Settings. Select Network Settings > Advanced Settings. Under Change Settings select Alternate MAC Address> select Clear. Allow the console to restart when prompted then try to install Disney plus again.

I apologize for the delay in responding. I didn't get a notification via email and I was out most of the weekend.

I do not use Xbox Cloud games, I am currently only an Xbox Gold member, and rest I use physical games. I can't log in remotely to try to play a game at this time either if it is via a Windows Device. I have no issue logging in and playing remotely on my iPad or iPhone.

As a test I tried several games (Xbox Gold and Physical games) and i can play them remote on my iPad.

I am both a Windows and Xbox Insider

I am the admin on all Windows Machines (Win 11 Pro, Win 10 Pro on Surface, and Win 10 on my VM which is loaded on my Mac), so there are no restrictions in place.
