Remote play not working how do I fix it?

If possible, try using another connection on your phone, just to test it.

We understand that you are playing remotely however you are seeing black screen on PC. There is a possibility that an update is required or else this could be an issue that requires fix.

We would like to suggest few troubleshooting you can try for this issue:



1. Make sure your Xbox and PC are both connected to the strong and stable network.



2. Update your PC and Xbox app to ensure you will be able to remote play smoothly.



3. Restart PC and power cycle Xbox.



4. If none of the above steps work, try uninstalling and reinstalling the Xbox app on your PC.



If you continue to experience issues with remote play, please let us know the following details:

• When did this issue happen and what are the changes you made before this issue occur?
  
• Are you part of Xbox Insider or PC Insider?
  
• May we know if you have tried the Gaming Services Repair Tool? If yes, please let us know how it went,

Hi Lukasz,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I understand that you're having issues when using Xbox Remote Play on mobile data.

The bandwidth requirement is 7-10 Mbps, please check if your mobile data has stable speeds that's above the requirements.

If the requirements are met, here are the steps on how you could proceed with the remote play.

On a mobile device:

Open the Xbox mobile app.

Select the My Library icon and select Consoles.

Select the console you want to connect to and then press Remote play on this device.
