Remote Play Issues

I'm going on vacation soon and I want to play Sonic Frontiers whilst I'm away.

I've been trying Remote Play lately and there were varying results on which connection I used.

Using my home Wi-Fi which is upstairs from the Xbox, since someone had the great idea to put the only ethernet port in our house in the kitchen, Remote Play is great... when it works. It runs with a stable connection half the time, with no input lag whatsoever, meanwhile in the other half it just either stays on the loading screen with the jet forever or it immediately loads into a black screen.

Playing from my friend's house with the Xbox hooked up to the Wi-Fi, It just never loads.

I plugged in my Wi-Fi Range Extender in next to the Xbox, and both of them had an ethernet port. I hooked the Xbox up to the Extender's ethernet port and Remote Play would always connect with a high resolution, but stuttery audio and one-minute input lag. Oh, and then coincidentally at the same time of Remote Playing, my Xbox decided to stop connecting to Controllers and I had to power cycle it.

I haven't been able to find a solution to remote play. Is there no settings to change, like broadcasted resolution or anything? Anything at or above 480p is fine for me.
