    Hi there,

    I have been using xbox game pass cloud gaming and xbox app remote play to game on my android phones for a little while with little/ no issues.

    Last night I tried to play using my MOGA Controller and for some reason the direction or left analogue stick didn't work. I thought nothing of it, but tried again tonight and again the same issue.

    So, here is what I have identified.

    The controller works for my phone, for all apps, and within the game pass app until a game is launched.

    When the game is launched, all other buttons except direction buttons/ stick work.

    Not just in game, if I hit the xbox button to bring up the xbox menu, the same buttons do not work.

    I have tested this with remote play as well as cloud gaming, and have the same issue.

    I have tested this with 2 other controllers (of which work on my console) and the same issue occurs.

    I have deleted and re-installed both the xbox and game pass apps from my phone.

    I have tested my main "mobile" controller on my phone, laptop and xbox and it works fine with the exception of when a game launches on mobile.

    I followed some advice from the xbox experts on support, and they were not able to help.

    Following their advice, I reset my entire console suspecting it wouldn't work and it didn't.

    I have ensured my official xbox controllers are up to date.

    I have tried both via blue tooth and wired connection.

    Help! I am currently stuck watching reality TV with the wife instead of gaming on my mobile hahaha

    That's for all games. Cloud gaming and remote play are 2 different things. For cloud gaming the games have to be on Game Pass Ultimate. Remote play is just a way to connect you to your console, so you would be able to access almost everything you can your console normally.

    From which country are you currently located?

    Are you trying to play Xbox Cloud gaming or Remote play? If cloud gaming, were you able to play or access your games through an internet browser (Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome)?

    Please note that for cloud gaming, it depends on the game if it supports it. You are also required to be subscribed to the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription.

    But.then you don't need a console

    If you.using.a console with any game you can remote play but that console can only be used for that while remote play is used

    Cloud gaming uses a.console servers but.requires a subscription and only games that support cloud play

    It only supports cloud play

    You can't play owned games only cloud suppor5ed games via gamepass ultimate

    No, there is no way to do this, apps do not run under cloud gaming. Services that contain copyrighted material like this or Netflix do not run in the cloud, gaming or remote play. Whatever device you’re using for cloud gaming or remote play undoubtedly has Apple Music support for it. Just download the native app
