Remote play display quality very poor when xbox is connected to some monitors

Xbox One reset keeping Games:

Press the Xbox button to open the panel.

Select system > Settings > System > Console Information

Select Reset console.

Restore and maintain my games and apps.

Rest assured, you won't miss games or saves

Note: You need to know the email and passwords of your accounts when performing this reset.

I have completed the reset, keeping my apps and games and to no avail, the issue is still occurring. Doesn’t connect at all, until I power on my monitor….

I’m assuming the next step is a total factory reset, erasing everything?

You can also try this, but try connecting it to a TV instead of a monitor to see if it continues to behave the same way.
