Remote play disconnects when I unmute my mic

I mean, I play on Xbox series x but my mic on remote play Xbox app will not unmute

the record feature *has* been working, it records everything except my mic when I alt+tab or "Tab out" in where I have to mute and unmute for it to registed my mic again.

I have the same problem. I have my xbox one in the living room but I have a long hdmi extention from the living room to my room TV whenever I want to play games in my room. I mainly play COD in there but whenever I plug in the mic it cuts off (remote and
mic) disconnects and my character goes crazy. I can not play with the mic connected because it will turn off the remote. What I did just now was that I used my PS4 USB cable and and plugged it into the xbox one cable so it could stay powered by a USB power
source. I went and played a few games with the mic and it never shut off, I will do further testing tomorrow.
