    Remote gaming with status bar


    When I remote play my Xbox console from my phone, my phones status bar is always displayed which is a big distraction from the game, when i game through the cloud i notice that the status bar is automatically hidden, so i dont understand why this would be any different, anyone know how to get the application to hide my status bar on Android?

    Does the Xbox Game Bar have an issue?

    I have the same issue with Diablo IV on the xbox game bar. The game was install using battle.net. It appears the xbox game bar recognizes it is a game however, my status only shows online. I believe this is the only game so far that I have encounter this issue. The resources top task in the game bar shows battle.net as high and not Diablo IV, but the task manager shows Diablo IV. Call of Duty was installed using battle.net as well; however, xbox game bar shows the status as playing Call of Duty Modern Warfare.

    If you have a zoom button on your TV remote use that to remove the bars, but you will lose some of the picture, but if you really hate the bars it may be an option for you.

    In my experience the Xbox One Kinect is often not able to turn sound bars on and off.

    There is an issue with the remote codes for sounds bars on many universal remote controls not just the Xbox one. If you can locate a code online, you can try entering it but this may be limited to volume and not powering on/off
