Remember Difficulty Level not appearing

When playing the games in the Microsoft Solitaire Collection, I used to be able to check a box labeled "Remember difficulty level" for each game. Now I don't see that option. How can I prevent the pop-up box to select the difficulty level from popping up at the start of each game?

I'm having the same problem as Susan.

I followed Francia's instructions to repair the app. However, there is no Repair in the Advanced Options of Solitaire Collection. It does have Defaults, Terminate, Reset and Uninstall.

Any ideas how proceed?

Dear all,

I've found out that the Repair option is only available in Windows 11.

There still no fix for this problem. I've reinstalled the app, but to no avail. I think the problem began with the latest update of the app.

Any input from a community member would be appreciated.

I have the same problem.

Tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but still no 'remember difficulty level' appearing in the game options.

As LeoS22ms said, there is no Repair option in the app options.

Hi, I hope you're doing great despite the issue you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

You may need to repair the game by following the steps below:

Settings > Apps > Apps & Features > Search the game > Advanced Options > Repair > Restart your PC.

How do I change the Difficulty Level for the Klondike Games? I was on Expert Level and switched off in the settings and it will not go back to Expert Level or any other level but Random.

Found it! Win a game in the same klondike category and the change difficulty level will appear.
