Relase date issue with a redeem code for SHADOW OF THE TOMB RAIDER

Hello, i have an issue with an redeem code for this game.

When i validate it, i have an incompatible release date :





This game is relase on 14/09/2018 ...

obviously, when i try to play it on my xboxone i have a message

"It's too early we know you really want to start, but you'll have to wait a little longer. Check the launch date on the Microsoft Store."

Are there any problems with redeem code ?

Tomorrow we will see an announcement from Square Enix about the next Tomb Raider game.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

Possibly the last in the Lara Croft story.

Personally I can't wait as Tomb Raider and Rise of were both fantastic.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider is "climatic finale of Lara Croft's origin story"


Looks like a possible release of September 14, 2018.

Looking at your screen capture you have uploaded, it says its release date isn't until 11 January 2019. This will need to be changed by Xbox or the Game developers.

However, looking at the Xbox store in your region, France, I am seeing the game is in fact available now to purchase and play. What I would do, if I was you, is to make sure your console is up to date and to see if Date and time is correct also on your console.

Failing that, clearing the Xbox cache by pressing and holding your guide button and selecting Restart.

I would recommend going to Contact Us | Xbox Support. Select the games option. Then choose pre-paid codes. Then choose have a rep call me. They will be able to look at this and hopefully help get it fixed.

 

I have the same problem i'm from the netherlands

 

Apparently, the problem is for any redeem code for this game, the technical support of Microsoft confirmed this information to me, I advise you to contact them

 

At this time they haven’t a solution, but maby you can have a commercial issue

 

Yeah they told me the same thing, let's hope they find a solution soon

This is a known issue
with new console bundles that come with Shadow of the tomb raider. Currently the code is redeemable, but the license does not activate until January of 2019. This is something that we are working on internally and should be fixed soon. Although, there
is no estimated time frame on that.

If you guys would like further assistance I would suggest to contact Live Support just to check if they have a resolution on their end as I've seen a few customer's with this issue having this resolved.
