Reinstalled game on W10 PC and my worlds are missing

Uninstalled Minecraft 1.19.5x Bedrock and reinstalled 1.19.6x this morning. Now I can't see my saved worlds that I had.

This is a Windows 10 PC. I checked in both:

C:\Users\myuser\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.MinecraftUWP_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\games\com.mojang\

and

C:\Users\myuser\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft

I saw some files from a couple years ago, but no mcworld files.

Have I lost my worlds? Any way to restore somehow?

Got it. I felt like because the world files are in app data and the application was in program files, along with the message that my data would be saved made me think it wouldn't be a problem. I didn't see a way to do the update and it wasn't happening automatically, so I just did the reinstall. Maybe lesson learned (the hard way).

they are saved locally and no cloud saving, when you uninstall it removes most files. why did you uninstall and not just update the game via the xbox app or store.

Hi, I ran all the pending updates (including optional) and rebooted twice. I still don't see the worlds when I run the Minecraft app. Any other ideas?
