reinstaled FH4 lost game buckup

Unfortunately there is no way to retrieve an older back up as everything in the Xbox Live cloud get's overwritten anytime you exit the game while connected to Xbox Live. It's an automatic process and does so to make sure your data stays up to date so you
can recover it if the data becomes corrupted, you'll be able to get your most recent save.

If the game is starting new after syncing your data from the cloud then it could be possible that your game play was never backed up to the cloud either because the Xbox was not connected to Xbox Live while you are playing, or the game never properly quit
and the data was corrupted locally.

It's possible something affected the sync when you tried playing while it was still installing and when you selected the NEW save rather than the OLD one when the game asked.

i did this: System > Console info > Reset console

First i'd like tell you my english is not perfect, sorry!

I try to tell you the full story, there is a one s 500GB more than 2 years old + external 500GB HDD.

On the external HDD were FH4, FM7 Mud runner end more games. (30.03.2019 morning i played a little with FH4 on the old systems)

I bought a new faster Seagate 1TB HDD and i istalled into the box, the mountig was good, thereafter did an offline system update.

Update was successful, thereafter i moved the games from the external HDD to the new internal HDD.

I tried to play with FH4 meanwhile i instaled the game it askd which backup need, tehe were two file with the same date, the NEW or OLD.

I chose the NEW one, and i think this was the problem!

There were some little problem, missing small icons of the games in the list and the start of the games was slow, it sad one or two minutes need to start.

Taht's why i decided reset console and reinstaled the games from the store, they were perfect except FH4!

It is download a 106.9Mb file every sync but the games wants to start from the beginning!

is possible to get an older backup than 30.03.2019.?

i mean one day older or one week older

data is held in the cloud provided you have gold and are syncing online. You may have to reach out to the forza team to sort this one out.

Sorry to hear that you're dealing with this issue trying to get your previous save.

I see that you said that you had done a full reset of the console.

Could you be a little clearer as to what you meant?

Do you mean that you have already pressed the power button until the console turned off?

Or do you mean that you have tried either a soft or full reset as outlined in the article

With a little more information on any kind of troubleshooting you have already done, I'm confident that we can get to the bottom of this.
