    I am the original purchaser of my Xbox one console, yet when I try to register it, an error message stating it is registered to a different account comes up. This is a huge problem, as my console needs service.

    Registration Issues

    You can't register the controller. You'll need to contact Xbox Support. Make sure you have a copy of your receipt.

    There are no repairs done for the controller, only replacements.

    If Xbox Support creates a repair order for the controller you'll have to pay for shipping to send your controller into the repair center.
