    You should have no problem, the console is not region locked.

    Microsoft Revamped Xbox One

    Glad it's region free. Does this apply to movie playback as well? Do you think I'd have issues watching other region DVDs on it? My friend had a problem with his Xbox 360 not playing certain region 1 DVDs.

    Region problem

    Not necessarily. Consoles are sold in North America are NTSC whereas the console you had in Europe would most likely be PAL. Because of the difference you European console may not be able to play the digital downloads.

    Your best bet here would be to purchase either a new 360 or Xbox One to play your games on.

    hi xbox i bought need for speed rivals some ago and now i have purchased call of duty 3 today and after i have been charged for the games need for speed will start downloading and stop saying cant download this game and call of duty3 is saying not available
    in my region how do i get my money back?

    @savyzavy - If you're account region and your physical location do not match, you will run into issues downloading games. You can try contacting support for a refund, but the marketplace does state that there are no refunds so there is no guarantee they
    will give you one. 1-800-4my-xbox if you're in the US/Canada or

    Region problem

    Hello,

    The account migration will let you migrate to any region as there are a lot more Microsoft services that are in many different countries. You'd need to do some checking to find out if your country/region is a LIVE enabled region by looking at the list of countries
    here.

    Unfortunately, now that you've changed your region to an unsupported LIVE region you'd need to wait 3 months before you're able to change regions back. There's unfortunately no way to speed this process up.

    but all the games sold in indonesia are all in NTSC, well most of them…

    so i can play it as long as it's NTSC? there's no regional encryption or anything on the console or the games?

    Right, Content is region specific and your IP is a digital footprint of where you live so no matter if you lie about where you are at or not you will not be able to download region specific content at all because xbox live is not supported in your region
    hence there will not be any content for your region. A quick google search shows many petitions to get xbox live in Israel you could sign one of those and hopefully in the near future you will be able to have xbox live in your country.
