    Region Moving?


    Hi Everyone,

    I've read about region moving XBox Live accounts, but it's not clear which games will and will not move with me. I'm in Canada and considering moving to the Cayman Islands. Is there any way to know which of my games will move and which ones won't? I have over 400 purchased games in my library and I don't want to have to buy them all again.

    Moving Region

    Hey there,

    Well, it should work, cause both regions are
    supported Xbox Live Regions    .

    The only difference is that your e-mail accociated with your Xbox Live Account is still from United States or United Kingdom.

    To change that do following:

    1. Log in by account.live.com

    2. Click Change across Country/region.

    3. Provide your details.

    4. Click Save.

    When I moved from the UK to Australia, as far as I can tell, all of my library moved with me but that was between to major Xbox regions.

    In your instance it might be worth not changing your Xbox region at all and leaving it based in Canada. Whilst purchases would still be CAD which may cause issues depending on the exchange rates between currencies you would not lose any titles in your library and access them just fine from the Cayman Islands should you move there.

    @artbiter that won't work

    once set the region of an account cannot be changed

    also certain apps like netflix which is region specific will not work in UK because the IP will report back as invalid

    you must create a UK xbox account and a uk netflix account and download the uk netflix app

    Your account will still work fine. But Hulu is an application that is not available in the UK so you will not be able to use it there. You can only use applications that are available in the reigon you are in. You can not use US Apps that are not available
    in the UK and vice-versa.

    Except two major problems xbox 360 games region locked but not xbox one or higher

    Also Cayman Islands is NOT an xbox live regjon
