Regarding the Xbox One S All Digital Console

So I had the Xbox One S All Digital console for quite some time now, and I really need help. To start off, I had the Xbox One before getting this one as a gift, and gotten a 4TB external hard drive to store the other games on there because I was running
out of space. The Xbox One is currently in my sister's room, and now it's not a family console thing that we all have to share. Now, I had tried to copy some games over from the external hard drive to the One S and it didn't work. I had gotten "Do you own
this game or app?" message and couldn't play any of those games. From then on I played with the few of what I had, and whatever was on Gamepass, going back and forth with uninstalling and re-installing games.

My question is that would I just have to re-buy all of the games that I had on the older just to play them on the One S? Also I've also had to deal with the game picture not showing up on some of the game tiles, and even though that's not much of a huge
problem for me, it's just getting annoying at this point and I don't know how to fix it.

Hi,

games can only be played by the person who bought the games if you want to play the games that are owned by other family members you need to gameshare the games

You have names mixed up. There are no consoles named the Xbox One Series S or Xbox One Series X.

The Xbox One/One S/One X all have a disc drive.

The Xbox One S All Digital Edition does not have a disc drive.

The Xbox Series X has a disc drive.

The Xbox Series S does not have a disc drive.

All the consoles can play backward compatible games. The Series S and One S all digital edition can only play games digitally downloaded.

The other consoles can play games from disc and from digitally downloaded,
