    I am sorry that you had problems with your xbox controller, as a player I can only inform you how it works, and the xbox controller has a 90 day warranty, one year is exclusively for the console, its accessories, such as the controller has a 3 month warranty and microsoft does not perform repairs outside of this period for its accessories.

    This is really weird, try updating the controller through the Xbox Accessories App, if the problem persists use your control's warranty.

    I have that problem with my controller. So i use the warranty i have with the retailer and exchange the controller for a new one.
