Regarding the new languages' keyboard

I found the solution! I am now able to type on my Xbox using my actual keyboard in windows.

It seems to only work if your Xbox and Windows is using the EXACT same input language and location. (This is a bit of a problem for me in South Africa because the Xbox doesn't have South Africa input English languages, but I'll cross the bridge when I get
there)

Here is where to set the settings if anyone else needs it.

CHANGING MY "Keyboard language" IN MY XBOX ONE SETTINGS (SETTINGS > SYSTEM > LANGUAGE & LOCATION > INPUT > KEYBOARD LANGUAGE) TO THE EXACT SAME LANGUAGE AS THE KEYBOARD LANGUAGE ON MY PC(SETTINGS > TIME & LANGUAGE > REGION & LANGUAGE > [YOUR LANGUAGE] >
OPTIONS > KEYBOARDS)

I am still having this same issue with my chatpad as well. Region is set correctly and MS support have been absolutely useless with regards helping me out. The thing is, when I haven't used it for a while, I forget which key is which for the @ symbol. Really
annoying.

Figured it out!

The chatpad serial number ends with the letter B, E, F, G, or S to indicate which language it supports: British-English, US-English, French, German, or Spanish.

What you have to do, is to change the Keyboard Language in settings>system>language&Location>Keyboard Language

Ex: If it has an "E" in the end, it needs to be US-English, If it has an "S" in the end it indicates you need to have the keyboard language set to Spanish (and so on)

this is the keyboard language settings.

if it is a US keyboard but set for UK English then @ and
" are swapped (also if it is a UK keyboard set for US English)

Press the Xbox logo button on your controller and press the RB 3 times to get to System

Select Settings. It is the gear icon.

Select System, then select Language & Location.

Keyboard language should be in the middle column under Input.

Thanks for coming to the forums with your question. The only thing able to be changed on the Xbox is the keyboard language. You can go to settings>System language and location>keyboard language. There is no way of changing the layout itself. However, if
you have an
actual keyboard in the layout you want. You can try and use that.

Is your Operating system a single language pack Operating System?

If it is a single language pack, we are sorry but you cannot change the language in the Operating System.

Kindly follow the steps below to change the regional language settings.

1. Go to
Start > Settings > Time & Language
> Region and Language.

2. To change PC’s language option follow the steps

3. Select the
language and then click on Options. If your language is not available, go to language options
and click on Download (to download the language pack) once the pack is downloaded go back to the
Region & language, select the Language and Click on
Set as primary.

4.
You will get a notification, “Will be display language after next sign-in.”

5. Sign out
of Windows and sign back in, your new language will be set.

6. To add a keyboard, click on
Add a language and choose the keyboard language you want to add. To switch between keyboards, you can click the taskbar button and select the keyboard you want to use.

You can use the keyboard shortcut
Windows Key + Space to toggle between added keyboards.
