Regarding the Minecraft "Better Together" promotion

I own the Xbox One edition of Minecraft on disk (bought and installed one month ago), and every account on the Xbox (except one minor child) have played it in much more than 5 hours. I guess I'm eligible
for the promotion. Still, there is no Minecraft app listed in Ready to install under My games & apps. Minecraft was installed using my account. I have also checked Ready to install apps with the other family members that have accounts on the Xbox. Have I missed
something here?

There are currently two versions of Minecraft on the Xbox One; the Xbox One Edition (which is no longer supported but remains playable if you own it) and the "Better Together" which is the version that has the cross platform feature. Late last year we had
a promotion in which if certain criteria was met, owners of the Xbox One Edition would receive a digital copy of the Better Together Minecraft. This is no longer valid, but we still have an article with the details of the offer at Minecraft

Missing "Better together code"

hi. I'm trying to contact for the better together promotion for Minecraft. I haven't received a code yet.

The game met the requirements, but still haven't seen any mention.

Thank you for posting on Xbox Forums! In regards to wanting to get the Windows 10 version of Minecraft for free, we did have a promotion back in 2017 for owners of the Minecraft Xbox One edition to upgrade to the Cross-platform version known as the Better
Together version for free. However, that is no longer the case since the promotion lasted until January 30th, 2018. For more info on the

Thank you for posting on Xbox Forums! In regards to the Minecraft Xbox One Edition, it is a version of Minecraft that is no longer supported since the debut of Minecraft Better Together Edition. Back when the new Edition of Minecraft debuted, we did
have a promotion for owners of the Xbox One edition of Minecraft to upgrade to the Better Together edition for free. However, that promotion has since ended. At this point and time if you would like to upgrade to the

Better Together Edition, you will have to purchase it through the Xbox or Microsoft store.

Thank you for posting on Xbox Forums. In regards to your question, there is a new version of Minecraft, it is the Better Together Edition, which can Cross-Play with PC. There was a promotion to upgrade to this Better Together Edition back in 2018, however,
that is no longer the case. If you wish to play this version or Minecraft in general you will need to purchase the game.
