Regarding the current issues with mic audio not working in partys

OK so not only is mic audio not working in party's but we straight up can not connect to anyone. This is a pretty big issue considering up until just a few moments ago I thought I was going to have to shell out for a new headset/ controller.

Let me ask any advisors this..... What is wrong with xbox having a section on the console to notify people of these issues??

We are having issues on the console, it only makes sense to be notified of the issue..... By console, we all know you can do it, you manage to send messages every time new games are added to gamepass.

What is stopping you from notifying people when a problem like this occurs?

As I said, if I didn't check here I would have likely spent £50 - £100 on a new headset/controller thinking my own was broke.

This is likely the case for a lot of other people right now, and I will be the first to say, the live outage page is a mess and barely has any info worth noting. I mean how hard is it to say on there "part voice chat and connecting to party's is not working right now"?

Instead it has the least explanatory description you could think of. Yeah thanks "issues with party chat" is really going to answer all the questions..

Yeah I have had the insider app for a long time but it is extremely barebones and there is rarely anything new on there other than the pointless "missions" that reward experience for virtually nothing.

I didn't think it was actively used due to the lack of content on there.

go to the network section, it usually tells you there if there is an issue with live. been like this since the original xbox one came out.

My son(Recon 50X) and daughter(Recon 70) are also having this same issue as of this morning.

Mics are working fine in all games except Fortnite. I checked their game settings and all is as should be. Some of their friends are having the same issues while some aren't. I tried their headsets while using my account and working
fine.... back to their account and no mic audio.

Currently the only way around it is using Xbox party chat.
