Regarding Gta 5 xbox 360 disc with Xbox One X

Hi there, so I was wondering, if I were to insert the gta 5 xbox 360 disc into my Xbox One X would I be able to update to the newest version of the game using the disc?

Hi,

No sorry, it won't. The Xbox 360 version of GTA V is not backwards compatible. If you want to play GTV 5 you'll need to buy the Xbox One version.

If you're trying to run GTA 5 Xbox 360 version on the Series X/S or Xbox One, the game isn't backwards compatible.

Offvourse GTA V xboz 360 should play on xbox one , same as acr combat 6 , and final fantasy viii

Most of these games are all playable its just not reading the 360 disc's on the one X

I got around it by putting one disc on HDD and the other on a large USB stick, like they said. Maybe this was all solved with a patch later. That's why I'm asking about this.
