    Regarding Console Bans


    Hello!!

    I have a few questions, first earlier today I have seen that I’ve been console banned without warning, I was questioning why I’ve been banned but saw that typically there isn’t many details given on why a console ban is issued which is understandable. However, I went to my enforcement page to see what has happened and it says I have 0 strikes and 0 suspensions at this moment. Last time I was even suspended was about 2 years ago and now I don’t typically get on often as I have work and other things so I was wondering about it. Any takes or help on this? Thanks!

    Regarding console bans.

    1, You would have to ask MS, people who use these forums are regular gamers so if you don't know we wont know.

    2, There are no unjust bans, they are investigated before they are actioned so there must be a reason for one/them being issued or they/it would not be issued in the first place.

    And yes if the console was banned the user would need to purchase another one if they wanted to connect to LIVE using it. Though it will still be usable offline.

    Apologies if these answers are not useful but they are all that are available for anyone on the forums.

    They're just bluffing, but unfortunately there would be no way to keep them from getting another console.

    2nd Console Ban from the Xbox Network

    The enforcement site won't show any information regarding console bans since it's not account specific. There is no way to contact the enforcement team regarding console bans and console bans cannot be reversed.

    So, to make a summary

    If you received an email regarding to the ban and it's permanent and nothing on the console, this means the account has been banned

    If you received a message as soon as you connect the console regarding to a ban and nothing in your account/accounts inbox, only the console was banned

    If you received a message on the console as soon you connect it to internet and on account/accounts email inbox regarding to ban, both things are banned
