regarding avatar props

say i buy a used xbox 360. i can get a free/paid avatar prop with it and transfer it to my xbox one, right? how would i do this? i assume the xbox 360 would have to be connected to the internet which means i'd have to disconnect my xbox one from the internet
and connect the 360 to the 'net. after i get the prop onto the 360 how do i get it onto the xbox one? also, during transfer do the 360 and xbox one both need to be connected to the 'net or just one or the other? not sure if i'd be able to have 2 consoles connected
to the internet at the same time. i'm burned out trying to add a payment option as all i can use is my atm card. tried it; didn't work. i don't have/use credit cards or paypal. i figured this my only, and best, option. btw, can i go to the avatar store (marketplace)
online and get free/paid avatar props without adding a payment option, or not? thanks.

can i ask a question regarding the xbox (one) avatar store? i try "purchasing" free props for my avatar and run into something about needing a credit card. is this true? i don't have/use credit cards or paypal. am i out of luck getting free
avatar props as well as ones that cost money? will this ever change?

your xbox 360 wireles controller your avatar holds will be in props under avatar editor

 

You don't need to use both consoles connected in the same time. If you purchase an avatar item from the marketplace through your xbox 360 it will be available for your avatar in the xbox one console as well. For the moment there are a few free avatar items
(like the Mercy Wings Prop) you can download to try this out

To purchase avatar items you need a valid method of payment in your account (like a credit card) or you can use prepaid currency cards.

 

sorry if i'm misunderstanding you but i need a payment option even if i go the route of using a 360? this whole thing is confusing. how would using prepaid curreny cards work to get free/free props, exactly? i don't need to add a payment option in this case?
are these the xbox gift cards? i. e.; $15.00, $25.00, etc. using a prepad curreny card would be easiest if that's all i needed and i didn't need to add a payment option. i have $ 15.54 in my xbox acct. sorry for my confusion.

 

In my answer I included the credit card as method of payment and the prepaid currency cards (yes these are the gift cards) and I already stated that you can purchase (purchase as in buy for a price) avatar items through your xbox 360 and use them in your
xbox one as well.

To get the free avatar items (as in giveaways or items) you don't need a method of payment in your xbox 360.

sorry, i'm still confused. i hate to waste your time like i did someone else here. apparently, i can't use my $15.54 to buy props. i don't have credit cards or paypal. i don't have a 360, just an xbox one. it seems to be a lost cause. i am just very frustrated.
i don't mean to sound ignorant. i'm far from it. i just wanted the simplest solution without adding a payment option.
