Refund?

Think it's time to take to social media @XBoX and @xboxfitness I highly doubt we will get any traction on our little forum. I started a tweet already @donthompson93

 

I too hope MSFT offers some type of refund or credit for all the workouts I have purchased. I'd understand if they stopped the service at the end of the Xbox One life but this feels like I'm getting ripped off. Although not ideal, at least allow us to
download the workouts and then just play them like videos? If not then some type of refund/credit would be appropriate.

Agreed on the keeping the content. You want to stop supporting it, fine. But I hope you are working on a way that we can view our purchased content. I like the Kinect feedback, but if you can't update it take it out and leave the videos. I paid for a
LOT of content, and if it gets turned off it's like you taking back a library of workout DVDs without a refund or AT LEAST store credit. You should have addressed this in the announcement of cancelation KNOWING people have spent money for a product you are
yanking back.

 

I don't want a refund, I just want to continue doing my Insanity workout on Xbox ONE.

 

I feel totally.ripped off. I spent like $85 on p90x videos and now I won't be able to use them after they shut it down. And my Kinect will be useless. They should let u use them offline. They let u download the programs so why can't we just be able to play
them even it the service is discontinued? They should give some kind of refund

I agree, this is totally unacceptable behavior. I may never buy another digital item from Microsoft again. I paid money for my fitness workouts and want to be able to continue to use them. Why do they have to be removed? This is the only thing I do on
the xbox and I am hacked! Change your mind Microsoft, CHANGE YOUR MIND and let us continue to use a no longer supported or updated version of our content.

This is an UNACCEPTABLE business practice if you want people to trust you in the future.

Speaking as a lifetime xbox gamer, just look at my gamer score, I'm disappointed and if I don't get refunded a decent portion, reimbursed or be able to download the workouts I bought, 80-100 bucks worth, I will have no choice but to jump ship and look at
join class action against xbox. Not smart, especially after such a weak showing at E3. Trust me, your too close to this year's holiday shopping season, and this hate train is just now leaving the station that will pick up to full steam by fall/winter. If
your smart you will come out with some sort of compensation very soon and publicly put that out there asap or reap what you have sowed.

 

I'll add my voice by saying that Xbox Fitness was what made me decide on the Xbox One over the PS4. I own a PS1, PS2, and PS3 but thought the Xbox One was really going to give me something different and more functional.

I guess not. I just got ripped off since I bought Extreme Combat, Yo30, Athlete 30, and I think another one.

 

When we purchased these programs, they were advertised with
"You can use this app now or buy it to own forever." directly next to the button to purchase the content. The advertising clearly states that the content we purchased is ours to "own," not to just be able to stream it until MS sees fit to sunset the service
and disable any and all access to the content that paying customers "own forever." Anything less than full refunds or making the content accessible without the Xbox Fitness app is paramount to false advertising, and should be pursued by consumer protection
agencies.

On another note, because of this I am certain that an "all digital" future with Xbox/MS in not for me. MS is simply just showing they are not trustworthy enough with digital content, especially with their notion that it does not depreciate the same as it does
with the retail market. I personally have decided to never again purchase digital content from MS (Xbox or Win10) and have recently canceled my gold subscription since I used it for DwG and GwG instead of multiplayer.

 

i do love the fact, that you can use kinect and see yourself moving. And fix posture to make sure everything is done right and you progress. Lets face it, you can buy full programs with more variety on cds. I do hope we will atleast get a refund. Without
xbox fitness, i have no use of my x1....

 

Yeah, this is a joke, I see no reason they can't make the app available offline so we can continue to use our purchased programs.
