refund request on repair order

I prepaid $250 USD for a repair service on XBOX One X. I sent in the Xbox then I got it returned with a letter stating it was not going to be fixed. I have called over ten times and I cannot get a refund. It's always the same message one of our offline teams will contact you. They have yet to do so, it has been over a month after they stated it would be within three business days.

Not sure what else I can do.

Hello Manny, sorry to hear you're having trouble with your console.

Usually if a repair has been refused then it suggests a self repair has been attempted on it. This would void any warranty and repair would not be given in those circumstances. However, to get more information on the issue itself I would recommend starting a chat at https://support.xbox.com/contact-us. When you get to a fellow Xbox gamer ask to be escalated to a Microsoft Advocate. They'll be the ones who can let you know the exact issue here.

You can try requesting a refund by going to the order page at https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders then locating the game. There may be an option to request a refund.
