    So i recently bought Dying Light despite knowing nothing about it. I owned it for about a night or two, and had only played around an hour or two of the game before requesting a refund. The refund was denied and the reason was that I can't request a refund for a digital game that has been used?

    I did the exact same thing when I digitally bought GTA V and the request was approved with no problem.

    So despite them being the same situation, why was I not given a refund the second time?

    Because if you read the terms and conditions you cannot try before you buy

    2hour limit is it

    Consistant with steam and any other service except sony which is once you download and start it you bought it

    It's -significant gameplay or ,14 days whichever comes first

    2 hours is significant gamrplay

    digital refund terms

    All sales of Digital Game Products are considered final, but we understand there may be extenuating circumstances. When you request a refund for these products, and depending on the purchase or content
    type in determining refund eligibility, we consider a variety of factors like time since date of purchase, time since release, and use of the product.

    Also any previous refunds are taken into account. I know it is under 2 hours of use on the product.

    If your reason for requesting a refund was that it didn't work but it does work I can see why they might deny it.

    It's 12 months since your last refund,not per calendar year.

    You should be thankful to get that.Other platforms don't give you a refund no matter what.

    Also,trying to abuse the refund system will get you a ban for marketplace theft.

    If you have not got the thing you've aid for them i'd suggest contacting support so they can look into getting you what you've paid for.
