    Refund on a custom controller


    My son designed a controller in the design lab and we have had to replace it 3 times because after troubleshooting and updates, the y button just never works. I have given it 3 tried for a replacement, but now I just want a refund. I requested a refund,
    but the email I received just said my request was closed. I do not have an option for a refund on my order history. This is beyond frustrating! I can't ever speak to a human or get a straight answer. I am not spending over $90 on a controller to just collect
    dust! I exchanged it 3 times, so I feel I gave a fair chance for the product to work, but it just isn't the case. Who can help me in getting a refund for this product?

    You have no choice, you have to talk to the support. Maybe you'll give them a 4th chance and MS is trying everything to give you a working Design Lab Controller

    Hi Marky. An advice? You've just bought it? It's drifting? Replace it. Look to your customer or with the Xbox support to ask for a refund or for a new controller.

    Got it. Well that's somewhat reassuring re: the refund, but ideally they would replace the full controller, customization and all. I appreciate the help in clearing that up!

    I recommend that you talk to customer support and say that you would like a full refund for the controller and mention that you have had four other xbox elite controllers break. Xbox elite controllers are known for breaking and at this point that is probably
    your best option. The fact that you no longer have a warranty may be an issue, but most of the time customer support will be willing to work with you.
