    Refund for game that runs incredibly poorly on Xbox One


    I purchased Fallout 4 for Xbox one, wanting to play it again on the living room TV as I've already played on my computer in the past. The game drops frames, crashes, and is overall disappointing to play on my console.

    I've tried requesting a refund through the automated system, but was denied, and not provided with any reasoning whatsoever. It said to look at the email for help, but I received no such email stating why it was denied.

    I tried speaking with an agent by making a request, but when they finally called me, there was no one on the other side that I could hear or speak with before the call dropped or they hung up. I've found no way to email a customer support agent directly
    and this has been a massive waste of my time for something that should have been easily settled. I do not have calling for the US (Canada calling only) and cannot find another way to speak with the agent.

    I just want my money back for a legitimate issue of the game being unplayable and can't even speak with anyone. Please help.

    It's all EA/DICE's fault for how poorly BF4 runs on Xbox One along with other platforms complain on their forums here.The game was rushed and that's why it's in the state that it's
    in now, but be happy that you at least were refunded for your purchase of BF premium.

    Well you could try deleting your profile off of the console and re-download it. You can do this by going to the settings menu and click remove account and then select your account and voila, I recommend after doing this to restart the console before the
    next step. Now after rebooting the console go to add remove accounts and go through the process of typing email and password and so forth and now see what happens when you try to play a game hopefully it should help. To give a brief explanation of what this
    does is it refreshes the licenses associated with your account which can get corrupted over time and can lead to several issues and possible performance issues. Here's a link for more information on adding and removing accounts:

    I would suggest power cycling, but since it seems you have done several methods to try and troubleshoot this issue I'm not sure what else to suggest other than seeing if Xbox customer support might have other methods of troubleshooting or the possibility
    of needing to organize an Xbox repair. Well either way I wish you good luck and I hope you find a solution, so you can get back to this fantastic generation of gaming.

    If my above suggestion does not work, it's possible your Xbox One's OS might be corrupted and needs to be reinstalled, there's only one way to do this and that's by way of a factory default reset. PLEASE READ THIS LINK ENTIRELY BEFORE ATTEMPTING THIS!
