    Refund for Game I didn't purchase


    My Microsoft Account was hacked and someone bought a game on my account. I was able to reset my password and cancel the subscription but the initial charge is still out there. How do I go about getting a refund? And how can I prevent my account from
    being hacked again?

    I can not request a refund because the order does not show up when I hit request refund. It was purchased under a false email address.

    You can try submitting a refund request for it at xbox.com/refunds or fill out the Manual Refund Webform on this link: https://support.xbox.com/forms/request-a-refund. You can find the order number of your transaction by signing in to your email at this link: https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders/.

    Once you're done submitting your request, you'll receive an email result within 72 hours and if your request gets approved, it will take 3-5 business days for the funds to reflect on your bank account but it really depends on your bank's policy.

    2 payments went off from one game and no second refund

    so i did receive the game but only after the second purchase, but i was told by a friend who went through a similar experience that i must request a refund to get back that R500 that was charged originally when i didn't receive the game, when i submitted the refund i stated a duplicate purchase occurred, and when i was redunded i was only refunded for the one purchase instead of 2
    That's my point: You will only get one refund as the error only occured once:

    - Purchase 1: Paid for the game, didn't receive it so entitled to a refund

    - Purchase 2: Paid for the game, received the game. not entitled to a refund

    You requested a refund for the first error and got your refund. The second purchase went through correctly, you paid for the game and you received the game so no refund necessary. The game cost R500, you received the game and got charged R1000 (2 attempts), you received R500 back so you have paid R500 which was the price of the game

    Only reason for getting 2 refunds back is if you wanted to return the game without playing it
