Refund for digital download that was fraudulant

Got an email the other day about a purchase on xbox store...digital download...$60. actually 2 of them. One of them was cancelled by the person doing it. then I got a 3rd email for another charge of 5.21 .

AT this point I was on the Microsoft website and I filed a refund request. then I realized my cell phone number was no longer correct and if I tried to go any further none of the codes for verfication would ever reach me. So I changed my cell number
to the correct number I have now....I didnt know it was going to freeze security for 30 days...really stupid since someone is fraudulenty charging things to my xbox account.

I beleive the next morning I got a 4th charge for $10.43 ....so then I call Microsoft and I speak to some foreign guy not named John even though he called himself John. He tells me I need to come to the xbox site for that. I say ok. but what about
these charges? I must do something to stop this guy. he tells me to remove my card from the account and I then put a different form of payment in there.

today I get an email about 20minutes ago saying that my case is closed and that they dont refund digital downloads!!!!

What in the....is this nonsense???? its fraudulent activity on my account...!!!

so where do I go now?? besides calling my bank...I am going to do that also.

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We are sorry you have an issue with purchases. We recommend requesting a call from support to assist you in stopping the charges.

When you go to Contact Us, follow these steps to request a call from support:

Step 1 ----click on Contact us
Step 2 ----under what you having trouble with select Subscriptions & billing
Step 3-----under what is the issue I can't redeem a code then hit next

Step 4 ----scroll down to select request a call

Once they call explain the issue and they will be able to help you. Note that these options regularly change so just keep selecting something that gives request a call from support as a contact option.

When you say that you refunded the purchase that your brother made.

Did you fill out the digital refund form?

Or

Did you go through your bank and do it as a fraudulent purchase?

There is no way that I know of to get a refund. I says in black and white when you download your digital copy that there are no refunds of digital content.
