REFUND FOR ASCEND : HAND OF KUL

Don't be a fool people. Microsoft is a large company though they have show clearly they can not be trusted! I through 50 bucks in game content expecting Microsoft to release all the extra content they announced. Low and behold 9 months later they never
delivered.

Was anyone able to get a refund? I called customer service and they denied me a refund saying they never promised any extra content to the game.

Well half the game is closed off with the coming soon label exactly like 9 months ago when the game came out. I would really love to see companies get some kind of sanctions, any kind of justice for ripping people off.

I should have went ps4, if I had it to do over again, I would stay away from Microsoft products all together. This company maybe large and in the US, they obviously don't care who they step on as long as they get your money. Truly a pathetic way to handle
business. Given this fact I will hope karma to catch up to them. I would not mind to see a foreign company replace Microsoft. Atleast they deliver their word.

Firstly, it's been 7 months since the game was released not 9.

Secondly, the game is listed as still being in open beta so it's obviously not finished. If it were out of beta you might have a point but it's not.

Thirdly, Microsoft didn't make the game.

 

microsoft did create the game and signal contracted with them to produce the game then microsft got sic of trying to fix what signal studios messed up the microsoft told them to trash the project for the 360 and only put the full game out on STEAM so clearly
microsoft should refund all the money they got from soul packs because it will not even be playable at all after nov18th cause there pulling the plug on the severs gone forever so yes once again microsoft lied to us gamers to make some money

The game was first released in a close beta in July of 2013, and then was released to open beta at the end of September of 2013, and the game was then released on Steam within May.

Signal Studios developed Ascend and Microsoft were publishing the game. Microsoft had held an update for the Xbox version for a long time, and then eventually pulled the game from the marketplace. It is unknown as to why they did this, and one can only speculate.

Signal is now able to release updates to the game when the game needs it with it being on Steam.



@Slimdigger: Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but all purchases over the Xbox say that there are no refunds, and no one knew that Microsoft would have decided to pull the game...not even Signal until after it happened.
