Reforj – Join the Xbox Insider Playtest Today!

Hello Fellow Gamer

Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are currently inquiring about how to unenroll from the Xbox One Update Preview.

This is depicted in the
Xbox Insider Program FAQ. This can be done by following these simple steps:

1. Launch the Xbox Insider Hub on the device you used to join the playtest or preview.
2. On the main landing page, select Insider content.

3. Under System, select Xbox One Update Preview.

4. Select Join or Manage.
5. At the very bottom, select Unenroll.

I hope this helps!

Hello mfundo jele,

Greetings!

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

It appears that you are interested in testing new products or apps. Let us help you by providing the information to address your concern.

You can check the Xbox Insider Program which will bring our Xbox fans to get early access to new games and features, join playtests with developers, and provide feedback to help shape the future of Xbox. You can join the program by installing the Xbox Insider Hub app on your console or PC. However, to join the program, you must be at least 18 years old to join the Xbox Insider Program. If you are under 18, you can still participate in the program with a parent or guardian’s permission, but you will not be able to access some features or content that are restricted by age. For more information, see: [Xbox Insider Terms of Use (TOU)].

We thank you for bringing this concern here and glad to provide the needed information.

Sincerely,

As of today there seems to be a stable update available without joining the Insider programme. If you can't get hold of that yet, how to join the insider programme is detailed in the many replies above - happy reading!

Another place on Xbox to find betas and other playtests of games outside of the official developer site would be through the Xbox Insider program.

Here's the relevant information about that.

There is a likely chance that if that game were to get a full beta on console, it may end up coming out through there.

The insider hub does have some options but most of their game testing occurs in house on the Microsoft campuses.
