Refer a Friend

I have been put into contact with yourselves from a chat with microsoft support worker.

On my xbox dash there is a link for the refer a friend get rewarded

when i click on this it opens up Microsoft Edge and loads up the website but



it only gives me a select bunch of friends and not the person i wanted to invite to xbox live which happens to be my daughter so i know she has silver membership.



The people who it does allow me to invite are mainly past work colleagues so i know they are not New to xbox live although they may be Old and elapsed members.

Any help would be much appreciated

If you are a member of the xbox live rewards program and are a gold member of xbox live, you can send them a link found on your rewards refer page that your friend can use to sign up for xbox live gold, for this you will both recieve a reward for refering
stated on the rewards website. If this doesn't solve your problem, could you specify more about what your issue involves

Refer-a-freind is a way to get microsoft points (MSP) and you can see if they are pending or have cam through by clicking this link

:rewards.xbox.com/ they must need to upgrade to xbox live gold and as Tgeekster said it will take
14days of referral email

yes thank you just wondered why the people it told me i could refer are not new members to Live.

 

Looks like one of my edits didn't make it through, but to clarify further this offer may extend to friends who haven't been a Gold subscriber for an extended amount of time. This may be why you see friends who have been Gold at one point. Hope this helps!

 

Thank you this explains. I had a few friends move to the playstation and its mainly those it wants me to invite back. Doubt they are going to rebuy a new console just to save money on live.
