    Redeeming the Game Pass free trial excludes you from the £2 deal?


    Hi,

    I have started to use my xbox more after seeing the £2 offer on Game Pass, but after seeing that I could get a free trial I thought I would try it out first before committing.

    I have now cancelled my recurring billing to redeem the offer but I cannot get the offer to work now. Did redeeming the trial exclude me from the trial? Isn't this rather backwards? Any way to remove the trial to allow me to get the offer before it expires?

    I just bought a xbox game pass code, I tried redeeming it and it said "the free trial is for new customers only"

    Can someone help?

    I have a few questions...

    1. The games that are "Included with game pass" are free if you have game pass? (Like See of thieves or Rocket league)

    2. The games that are "now available on xbox game pass" like Forza Horizon4 are free too if you have game pass?

    3. I have a problem... I can't start my 14-day free trial

    Unfortunately the offer is for account that have never used Game Pass before, if you check the main web-page for game pass showing the special offer, at the very bottom are the requirements to be liable for the offer.

    One step forward, two steps back as usual with Microsoft. Thanks for the answer, I'll try and call support and see if there is anything they can do, but otherwise looks like I am just going to pay the full price.

    Only one Game Pass trial can be redeemed per account, I'm afraid; if you have already redeemed a free Game Pass trial, you would not be able to redeem a second trial on your account.

    We'd recommend giving your extra trial code to a friend who might enjoy it!

    Gold status

    Trials do not flag you as gold.

    They simply allow you access to a selection of Gold Features (excluding games with gold/deals with gold)

    1-Month Free Trial can be availed via
    http://xbox.com     website, it's different from the 2 and 14 day trial that you redeem therefore you can actually use that to download free games under Games with Gold.
