    Redeeming physical Microsoft retail gift cards


    Hi everyone,

    Just a little curious with the retail stores closing up, anyone encountered the same issue I have with redeeming the gift cards?

    I have three $100 cards i received as a promo for buying a laptop with them 2 years ago. Still got the receipt and everything. Was wondering if anyone knows how to redeem it since those cards state retail store only, and does not have a 25 pin.

    I've tried to patch to customer support, and so far have been transferred between 5 channels, all of which state a different department can help. I've also been call dropped twice (assuming the wait took too long and the call got dropped, 15 mins+ on hold
    that time).

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Unfortunately no, the receipt only shows the lines "retail store open denom.." and then the gift card value. I feel like it might be a special merch card since the supposed $300 gift card they somehow weren't able to issue to me.

    Thank you for the link! I've tried that slready with the options but they don't seem to work. I'm hoping to avoid any more long dropped calls as it seems to me none of them can offer any firm solutions so far.

    If you mean the gift cards that is sold by physical retailer then it will be depended on the retailer itself.

    As for on the Microsoft store you should be able to.
