Redeeming a game add-on code "you already own this game"

Anyway, even if it was the base game code you would be able to redeem it since you don't have the base game. You can play through your game pass subscription, however, you do not have a game license, which would make it possible to redeem the code.

Yes you can redeem codes for some DLC you already own. If you already have the Cerberus Network don't waste the code by trying to redeem it, sell it on eBay or give it to a friend who bought the game second hand.

Thanks for posting on the forums today. If you already own Forza Horizon 4 and you're attempting to add the Ultimate edition code on your account the progress saved will remain the same. You're games saves and game DLC won't get affected by adding this code.
You should be good to go and redeem that without a worry

If you’ve already redeemed the code, the game or add on will be in your ‘Games & apps’ ‘Ready to Install’ list.

Hi, if I'm not mistaken you'll need to uninstall the current games with gold version and then redeem the code. If you already have a game installed you can't usually then redeem a code for the game as the system sees you have the game installed already.

Ahh okay this makes sense. But won't the system see that I already 'own' the game nonetheless? I'm more than willing to try it, it's just that I'll have to wait a lot for the game to download again.
