Redeemed Minecraft Windows 10 Bedrock Version - Not Able to Install on new Windows 10 PC

my name is (MOD REMOVED-PERSONAL INFORMATION) . I have a Mojang account where I purchased Java edition of Minecraft few years back . At that time I receive a free copy of the Windows 10 Edition of Minecraft with my copy of java by redeeming
a digital registration code that would unlock the full game on my PC so that I could use my Xbox account on my PC as the Pocket Edition that I used on my smartphone. I now have a new pc and I want to install the old PC windows bedrock Pocket
Edition on this new pc but the redeem code is no longer valid and there is no download link that I can reinstall my Minecraft Windows 10 Edition equivalency . I do not want to have to purchase another copy of java Edition that would allow me
to unlock a new copy on my new pc simply because that would be rather redundant to do so when I already own a copy of java Edition under the user gamertag
(MOD REMOVED-PERSONAL INFORMATION) and (MOD REMOVED-PERSONAL INFORMATION) is my xbox Gamertag which allows me to play my Realms server that I paid for on a monthly basis.

So what I'm trying to tell you is that I have spent a lot of money already on Minecraft alone and I do not want to have to purchase another copy of Minecraft Java Edition to unlock Windows PC storefront version being the Bedrock version, it would
be greatly appreciated if someone could help me find a resolution to my problem or dilemma if you can understand what I mean. Find a will stand by and wait for an answer do this concern and question for Minecraft bedrock version.

Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition runs specifically on Windows 10. If you would like to play Minecraft on Xbox One, you will want to take a look at Minecraft:
Xbox One Edition. If you would like to install the Windows 10 version of Minecraft on your Windows 10 PC, sign into the account that originally redeemed the code and download through the Windows Store.

I had purchased and installed minecraft for windows 10 version on my pc.

Due to some issues with the pc, I had to restore the windows 10 in my pc.

my pc is running but unable to re-install minecraft.

need your urgent help with the same.

Looks like there is some confusion about redeem codes and such, all of those codes are one time use. The thing is once its redeemed to a specific account, that account owns the

Licenses and the progress. All you would have to do is re-download the profile back and all the content would be there! Give it a shot and let us know how it goes

I'm pretty sure it was for bedrock. Supposedly the code was sent out a while ago, but I have no way of finding it.

Minecraft was never sent as code in a Xbox Live message (unless someone sent you the game as a gift).

And if you redeemed the code, there is no need to search the code anymore, as games you redeem with a code are added to your account. So once you add a game via a code, you will always find it in the "Ready to Install" section of your console, or your Library
on your Windows 10 Store.

If you had the Xbox One Version, you would be able to upgrade to the Bedrock Minecraft on Xbox One for free if you bought the One Version digitally, or played the disc version of Minecraft Xbox One Version for more than 5 hours before February 2018.

But that would NOT give you the Windows 10 Version.

Only if you bought the JAVA Minecraft before October 2018, you would see a redemption button on your Mojang Account website, that would then reveal a code for the Windows 10 Version. That code could then be redeemed on the Windows 10 store to get the Bedrock
Version for Windows 10.

So you could only upgrade from a previous Minecraft on the same platform (i.e. Java -> Windows 10 Bedrock and Xbox One Version to Xbox Bedrock). But you could NOT cross-platform update (from Xbox One to Windows).

If you own the Java edition on PC, you can get the Windows 10 PC version that allows to play with other 'Bedrock' additions on other devices (mobile, console etc.). It's does not give you the Xbox version for free.

There are two versions if Minecraft on the Xbox:

Minecraft
Minecraft for Xbox One

It is the first one that is the bedrock version and is available on Game Pass. Are you sure you just didn't download it from there?

If you did already get a code and redeemed it on the store on the Xbox, it should still be for the Windows 10 version. You don't get a choice.

Just try and download the Windows 10 version on the Microsoft store on the PC.

Based on your screenshot, that's the Minecraft Bedrock version for Xbox, right?

Only the Minecraft for Windows (the Bedrock version for PC) is eligible for the offer.

Unfortunately you will not be able to redeem Java Edition. I'm sorry about that.

Do you own the PC version of Minecraft? If not you only have the beta and wont be able to upgrade unless you purchase the regular Minecraft for windows 10. If you do own the PC version of Minecraft you should be able to upgrade to the Minecraft windows 10
edition for free. Check this website on the PC and see if it says to install or purchase.
