    redeemed a game but it isn't showing that I own it!


    I just bought fallout 3 and redeemed it on the Xbox website, which went fine. I went to see if it was downloading but it hasn't even tried and says I don't even own the game.

    Hi there!

    When you say you redeemed it what exactly do you mean?

    Did you acquire the game through Game Pass or did you receive a code for something in-game?

    Keep in mind that at this time the Sea of Thieves devs have promotional content turned off and it may not appear in-game until the issue with that content is fixed.

    Sorry to hear it. Can you head to Settings>Accounts>Download History and see if the game is listed as downloadable there? If it is not then perhaps it was purchased on a different gamertag.

    I made sure I was signed into the only Xbox account I own. And I know it's not there because I checked it through my Xbox and my phone. :c

    Ok, thanks. Log in to commerce.microsoft.com to ensure that the payment for the game came out. If it did then give phone support a call to sort this out as only they can assist with billing issues. If you live in North America dial 1-800-469-9269

    Anything you own will appear as owned or show in your purchase history. If you can't access it that means you either redeemed it on another account or didn't redeem the gold version at all. Unfortunately there isn't anything you can do now but purchase the
    game again.
