    redeemable code deactivated before opening it


    I went to open a redeemable code for a gears of war 4 operations pack from the xbox 15 year anniversary and it disappeared. When I contacted costumer service they had this to say: "I have checked the codes here and actually the code was sent PTV6G-DGDC4-X3M7R-FM7Q6-VC62Z,
    I have checked on the status of the code and it is showing as "Deactivated".

    I was told to place my issue here to have a reimbursed operations pack sent to my notifications on xbox live.

    Redeemable Gears of War codes disappeared from Message Center before opening them.

    Codes for Gears 1, 2, 3 and Judgement Day disappeared from Message Center before opening them after a recent Gears of War 4 digital purchase.

    Support chat # [Mod Removed] for reference - led me to this forum.

    If they already redeemed the code, there is no way to refund it and there is no other way to deactivate it.

    Thanks for reaching out to the Forums for advice on how to deal with this issue with your code. It really depends on how long ago you got the code from the store you got it from. What we have on our Troubleshoot
    gift card and code issues     is all you can do.
