Redeem reward points on child account

I am trying to redeem reward points that my child has saved up on his account. I am able to select the robux (the ones he want), press redeem and then a screen appears and a “verified” shows.

No points has been removed from his account and no email has shown up in his mail box. No spam either. I have tried to remove the “ask for permission on each buy” and even raised this app age limit to “no limit”. Nothing seem to work.

I have also tried to find any settings in the family safety app, but there are no options that seem to be within scope.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Xbox/Microsoft currency redeemed from the rewards program are automatically deposited into the accounts balance. They do not provide a separate code. Check the account balance of the account that redeemed the rewards points.

Hi Carol! Just to clarify: Are you looking to give your child your Microsoft account balance or Microsoft Rewards points? While transfering account balance isn't possible, you can give Rewards points to your child or other family members by adding them
to your family in the 'Family' tab in your MS rewards hub.
