Be careful for malicious websites that may try to fool you into revealing your Microsoft account. It may be a scam website trying to hack into your account. If the code you claim is valid then you are supposed to visit your "Mojang account" if you have purchased
Minecraft Java edition on the windows 10. By doing this, you'll be able to migrate it into your account which would allow you to access minecraft for free.

i just found out abot getting the free windoows 10 but when i click the redeam it asks me to enter my microsoft account and after that it opens the microsoft redeem page and says the code i entered is not complete, and its suppose to be 25 charectes long.

please help i have till tommarow to redeem the code

What's on your Xbox would not be the Windows 10 Edition as that only works on PC. Did they give you a code for the Windows 10 edition?

I haven't heard of any promotions with Xbox giving the Windows 10 Edition for free with purchasing the Xbox One version. There was a free upgrade from Minecraft: Xbox One Edition to the current version which is just Minecraft.
